Data we process

• Account and profile data from your Ztove profile.
• Recipes, images, comments, ratings, likes and favourites linked to your profile.
• Private recipe drafts and settings when you use recipe tools.
• Dietary preferences if you choose to use them to filter search results.
• Text, ingredients or recipe input sent to smart AI features.
• Technical data such as IP address, device/browser information, cookies, localStorage and server logs.

Purposes and legal basis

The legal basis will typically be contract performance, legitimate interests, consent where required, or compliance with legal obligations.

• Providing login, profiles, recipes, comments, ratings and favourites.
• Storing private and public recipes and managing publication approval.
• Filtering search based on your selected dietary preferences.
• Providing AI-assisted features at your request.
• Operating, securing, debugging and preventing misuse of the service.

AI subprocessors

When you use smart features, your input may be sent to OpenAI through the API. We do not store prompts or AI responses as separate logs unless they become part of content you choose to save.

OpenAI is used as a subprocesser for AI features and provides a Data Processing Addendum for API customers.

Retention

We keep data for as long as necessary for the service, security, documentation or legal requirements. Public content may remain visible until deleted or unpublished.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing by contacting info@ztove.com.

You may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency or your local data protection authority.
