A soft boiled egg is perfect for breakfast. The egg white should be firm and the yolk soft and runny. This recipe ensures you achieve just that.

Cook the eggs
Add water to a saucepan, just enough to cover the bottom, i.e. 2-5 mm. This equals about 1 dl if you use the 3 L saucepan. Add the eggs to the pot, cover with the lid and start the program.

Pour cold water over the eggs
When the program indicates that the eggs are done, then pour cold water into the saucepan. Let the eggs cool down for at least 10 seconds. Serve the freshly cooked eggs.
