Garlic bread is a great addition to many meals - lasagne, soup, a juicy grilled steak - you name it! This recipe is so easy, too. All you need to do is mix up some homemade garlic butter, slice up a baguette, spread it with garlic butter and then toast it in a pan. The homemade garlic butter really brings a boost of flavour to the store-bought bread. And with temperature control, you can easily achieve a perfectly golden and delicious crust on your bread with no risk of burning.

Ingredients

4pers

Garlic Bread

2pcs.Garlic cloves
Fresh parsley, , a small handful
100gButter, , softened
0.5tsp.Flaky sea salt
1pcs.Baguette

Instructions

1

Garlic butter

Peel and finely grate the garlic or use a garlic press. Rinse the parsley and chop it finely. Combine the butter, garlic, parsley and sea salt in a bowl and mix well. It's easier to mix if the butter is soft.

2

Garlic bread

Cut the baguette into thick slices. Spread garlic butter on both sides of each slice, right to the edge. Place the 28 cm pan on the stove and set the temperature to 180 ºC. Fry the bread for 5-6 minutes on each side. Remove the bread from the pan and serve.

Tips for this recipe

If you cook the garlic bread in the 24 cm pan, you'll need to cook it in two batches. Make sure to wipe the pan with a paper towel or similar between the first and second portion. This will prevent any leftover butter, garlic and parsley from the first portion from burning and sticking to the garlic bread.
