A simple and easy everyday dish. Fresh pasta cooks in no time, and with Ztove's automatic pasta program, it's even easier. The creamy sauce made with heavy cream and sour cream gets a touch of freshness from lemon, and spinach adds both colour and flavour. Combined with perfectly cooked salmon, it's a super delicious but simple dish.

Ingredients

4pers

Creamy Pasta with Salmon

400gSalmon , without skin
Salt, as needed
Pepper, as needed
3tbsp.Flavour neutral oil, , divided
1pcs.Onion
2pcs.Garlic cloves
250gSpinach , , fresh
2.5dlHeavy cream 38%
150gSour cream , , 18%
1pcs.Lemon, , zest and juice
500gPasta, , fresh
Parmesan cheese , for garnish

Instructions

1

Prepare the salmon

Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Heat a 28 cm pan to 190 ºC and add 2 tbsp. oil. Add the salmon and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 4 minutes in total. Remove the salmon from the pan, transfer to a plate and set aside. Pour the excess fat out of the pan.

2

Make the cream sauce

Peel the onion and cut it into small dices. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Add 1 tbsp. oil to the pan in which you fried the salmon. Set the temperature to 140 ºC. Fry the onion and garlic until the onions are translucent, about 2 minutes. Add the spinach and cook until it wilts. Add finely grated zest from a whole lemon and the juice from half a lemon. Reduce the temperature to 90 ºC. Add the heavy cream and sour cream. Season to taste with salt and pepper and more lemon juice if needed. Let the sauce heat at 90 °C for 5-10 minutes while you cook the pasta.

3

Cook the pasta

Use the pasta program in the app to cook the pasta. Cook the pasta for approx. 3 minutes, but follow the cooking time indicated on the pasta package.

4

Serve

Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Add the salmon and stir well. Serve the dish topped with fresh parmesan flakes.
