Set pasta to boil at 100 °C and cook with a lid on. You can safely turn your back without it boiling over.

If you want to save more energy, you can use Ztove's automatic pasta program with the free app.

Ztove ensures that your pasta is perfect and that you use the least amount of energy, among other things, by utilizing residual heat effectively.

All you need to do is pour 1.5 L of water into the pot, add pasta and salt. You will receive a notification when they are done, and Ztove will automatically turn off the zone.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 L water
  • 250g pasta
  • 1 tbsp salt

Recipe Steps

Prepare the Pot

Pour water, pasta, and salt into the pot. Put the lid on.

Bring to a Boil Quickly at 120 °C

Set Ztove to 120 °C to bring the water to a boil quickly.

You can skip this step, but it makes the food ready a bit faster.

Cook Pasta at 100 °C

The pasta is now "simmering" right at the boiling point. The water will not boil vigorously, but this ensures that the flavor is not boiled out into the water, and you use significantly less energy.

Notes

You can add as much or as little pasta to the pot as you like. Just make sure there are a few cm of water above the pasta.
